About the client: The company is a start-up in tech that works with digital solutions through developing web platforms to facilitate the recruitment and scheduling of temporary staff for sports events.

Who are you? We are looking for a student studying within the programs related to Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar. The position lasts for one semester with the possibility of extension and you are expected to work approx 10 hours a week during the period.

Development

At THS Consulting, we only undertake projects with a certain technical complexity. In other words, it is more or less guaranteed that you as a consultant will get an assignment where your training will be useful. We believe in the development of the individual and it is important to us that all employees feel that it is possible to develop with us. Therefore, we have created a career ladder that everyone within the company has the opportunity to climb. Enter early in your training as a junior consultant and grow with us towards positions as senior, project manager or the management team. Depending on whether you want to move towards a specialist, generalist or project manager role, we have them all!

Commitment

With us you are never alone! Do you feel that the next period will be difficult at school? Don't worry, there is no requirement to always be in projects with us. Take the difficult (re)exam and we'll keep in touch and find a project when it suits you. Do you need help solving a problem in your project? Your colleagues are always there! With us, there are always consultants with various long experience of the consulting profession, but also of the school. Everyone who works at THS Consulting is a full-time student themselves and therefore knows what it's like to be a student. We call all this commitment.

Community

What would a job be without nice and handsome colleagues? We believe in community and therefore try to meet as often as possible. It can be anything from an AW, a breakfast at THS Café to a case event at a partner company. All this, together with the projects themselves, we believe creates a good workplace where you as an employee can feel joy, commitment and development!

Roles we offer

There are many different services at THS Consulting, this so that there is something for all students at KTH! Below is a general description of each service.

PHD consultant

As a PhD consultant, you are THS Consulting's absolute expert knowledge. You study at doctoral level and are eager to use your skills in the consulting industry. Your assignments can, for example, be advanced analyzes in strength theory or probability theory. The general profile we are looking for is:

Studying at KTH at doctoral level
Feels comfortable working in a group as well as individually
Can take responsibility and perform under pressure
Has the opportunity to work 5-15 h/week

Project manager

As a project manager, you are responsible for one of the largest projects at THS Consulting. Here will be tasks such as taking customer meetings, being able to lead projects and continuously evaluate project status, as well as being able to communicate with consultants. It is common to work as a consultant in projects at the same time as a project manager. Personal maturity and leadership experience is something that is important in the position of project manager. The general profile we are looking for is:

Studying at KTH at bachelor's or master's level
Feels comfortable working in a group as well as individually
Can take responsibility and perform under pressure
Has previous experience in leading groups
Has the opportunity to work 5-15 h/week

Junior consultant

As a junior consultant, you will often be part of a group carrying out a project. Common tasks are web design, simpler analyses, data collection or CAD work. We are looking for you who are interested in the consulting profession, want to become part of THS Consulting and develop professionally! The general profile we are looking for is:

Studying at KTH at bachelor's level
Feels comfortable working in a group as well as individually
Can take responsibility and perform under pressure
Has the opportunity to work 5-15 h/week

Senior consultant

As a senior consultant, you may be responsible for smaller projects and/or be an expert in projects where you have experience. You as a person are responsible and can, when required, take a leadership role. As a senior consultant, it is also important to be able to convey messages to customers but also knowledge to more junior consultants. The general profile we are looking for is:

Studying at KTH at bachelor's or master's level
Feels comfortable working in a group as well as individually
Can take responsibility and perform under pressure
Have previous experience in a special area (programming, CAD, marketing, etc.)
Has the opportunity to work 5-15 h/week

THS Consulting

THS Consulting grundades 2012 (tidigare känt som Tekniska Högskolans Studentkonsulter), med målet att göra det möjligt för KTH:s studenter att prova på konsultlivet innan examen. THS Consulting hjälper företag inom alla KTH:s utbildningar. Idag finns det fyra olika fält, Strategi och Analys, Informationsteknik (IT), Produktutveckling och Hållbar Utveckling. Konsulter på THS Consulting är alla studenter på KTH:s program. Allt från Kandidat- Master- och Doktorandnivå.
